NMI was started in 2000 by Jan and Jerry Herren. They take great pride in the fact that they have retained the first associations that took a chance on a new company with just two employees. Their goal is not to obtain as many associations as possible, but rather to maintain a long-term working relationship with each of their clients.
Jan and Jerry are licensed Florida Community Association Managers and have over 50 years combined experience in all aspects of the field. They've been active in groups such as the St. Johns Citizens Study Committee and the Florida Legislative Alliance, which is part of the Community Associations Institute (CAI). They were founding members of the local chapter of CAI in the mid-90's. Their interest in these groups keeps them informed of the latest developments in the industry, as well as the community.
